The rumor mill has been tossing around word this week that married country artists Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert turned down a million dollar gig in Las Vegas.

Miranda Lambert Beats Husband With 9 CMA Nominations 

While the couple are both scheduled to perform at the Route 91 Harvest Festival at the beginning of October, there's been talk lately that the couple was invited to perform at Caesars Palace. One weekend, $1 million. This same rumor also claims they turned down the gig. According to Fox, however, the million dollar rumor is in fact false.

On Tuesday Fox reported that AEG Live and Caesars Entertainment were shooting down the claim, even if Shelton and Lambert have yet to comment on it.

"AEG and Caesars Entertainment have a wonderful relationship with Blake and Miranda," claimed AEG, "And would love the opportunity to have them perform at any of their venues, including…Caesars Palace, but the report is not true."

Lambert continues to tour promoting her June 3 album Platinum, for which she received nine CMA nominations this year. Shelton, who recently released his new single Neon Light is awaiting the release of his own album, Bringing Back The Shine on September 30. With a number of hit songs off Platinum, Lambert is a force to be reckoned with this year and her husband will have to work hard in order to keep up.  

Lambert and Shelton will appear at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas October 4.
