The 2012 USA Olympic Swim Team made a YouTube clip set to Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe"

Olympic swimmers Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps sing the popular song with their team mates in the pool and on their flight headed to Great Britain for the London Games.

"It's no secret that members of the U.S. Olympic swimming team work hard, but there's also a little bit of downtime during training camp," the team says of the video on its website.

"In an attempt to blow off a little steam during that spare time, Alyssa Anderson, Kathleen Herseyand Caitlin Leverenz spearheaded this video project, which Leverenz says incorporates about 95 percent of the team," they add.

Pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen has broken Lady Gaga's Billboard Hot 100 Record, E! News reported on July 26.

Her hit "Call Me Maybe" is currently in its seventh week at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, beating Gaga's 2011 hit, "Born This Way," which was on top for only six weeks.

"Call Me Maybe" has already been covered by several artists, including Katy Perry, Fun, Big Time Rush, Ashley Tisdale, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.

The song became a hit when Justin Bieber tweeted a video of him lip-syncing the song with his girlfriend Selena Gomez and his friends.

"Hey guys! Here's the music video I promised featuring all my friends to Carly Rae Jepsen's song 'Call Me Maybe'," he tweeted.
