It seems like the actor who will be the next Batman is feeling like he has the same flaw as the Caped Crusader, but will that be something good or bad to have during the new movie?
Speaking with Mirror on Sunday, Ben Affleck spoke about the anger that Batman exerts in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and how he relates to what the hero is dealing with because of stuff in his own life.
"For me, anger is so deeply buried and contained that when it does kind of come out, it comes out in stronger bursts," Affleck said.
"I tend to be respectful, polite, get along, put up with, put up with, put up with... then when it emerges, it's not something I have a ton of control over. I'm not gonna do a Wolverine berserk rage, but I do have a, I do..."
The actor added that he feels like for Batman, it is a necessary flaw for the hero to have as it can be relatable for others.
"I think it's a necessity, historically, in the tradition of these films," Affleck said.
It seems like Affleck is now getting into the character of Batman that he will most likely be portraying for the next few appearances of the character. While no footage has been seen of him playing the role, from what he has said to the media, he understands what he needs to do to get the character right.
Batman v. Superman is set to open in theaters on March 26, 2016.
