With a few names somewhat confirmed to join the Sinister Six in the movie, there is still room for a few other notable faces to appear and set-up more possibilities for the new Spider-Man universe.

Spider-Man Plays Coy About His Involvement In 'Sinister Six'

Josh Wildling at Comic Book Resource speculated on Sunday on a few villains that could appear in the Sinister Six movie and threw out one name that could lead to the female-led spinoff movie that the studio has already planned.

The site said that the Black Cat seems like a sensible choice for both that and a role in Sinister Six. Felicia was met briefly in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 where she was played by Felicity Jones, but the sequel missed the opportunity to drop some hints about her being in Oscorp for more than just giving Harry Osborn a helping hand.

He added that perhaps this upcoming movie focusing on the villainous team could see her true motives revealed before the Green Goblin recruits her, only for Felicia to see the error of her ways and set off out on her own in time for a movie of her own and an expanded role in The Amazing Spider-Man 3 as a new love interest for Peter Parker.

With the female-led spinoff set for 2017, it could be Black Cat, or Jones, leading the movie that exists in the Spider-Man universe, which could also work it's way into the third Spider-Man movie.

Sinister Six is set to open in theaters on November 6, 2016.
