Austin Mahone is a huge Drake fan and the 18-year-old singer got up close and personal with his idol at Monday night's Drake vs. Lil Wayne concert in Los Angeles.

On his Instagram account, Mahone called the show "incredible." Mahone has been pretty outspoken since the beginning of his career about his admiration for the rapper.

"I would say my biggest inspiration would be Drake," Mahone told HollywoodLife.com last year. "I just think he's really good musically, he's very lyrical. I mean I'm signed to Cash Money, so hopefully I'll get a song with him. I mean he's my biggest inspiration so that'd be pretty cool."

Mahone is about to start working on his first full-length album soon and was still holding out hope for a Drake collaboration in the near future. "Right after the tour, I'm going back to Miami and I'm going to start working on [my album]," Mahone told J-14. "Now, I'm just working with a bunch of different people. I'm going out to LA for a couple weeks, to get a little something from everyone, and then we're just going to go from there."

First for the teen star, he'll be doing some more shows for his Mahomies. On Saturday, Mahone will be performing a concert at Citi Field after the New York Mets Game. Mahone will be then be playing October 2 in Mexico City and October 3 in Merida. Followed by Guadalajara on October 4.
