Dancing With the Stars fans saw that contestant Bethany Mota had injured her ankle during her Foxtrot, and now her partner Derek Hough is revealing a status report on her injury.

Kevin Hart Set To Guest Judge on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Hough writes about Mota's ankle in his new TVGuide.com blog, revealing that it's still not improving as much as they would hope.

"Bethany's ankle is not doing great. We're wrapping it and icing it. The problem is you've got to stay off of it, but we don't have time for that. It's unfortunate," Hough writes. "We're doing everything we can to try not to make it worse. It was getting a little worse Thursday when she was on it. I'm adjusting the choreography to favor it a little bit and I'm trying to be conscious about it, like I'd go, 'Go to the right, oh, actually, go to your left.' Hopefully she'll be feeling better by Monday."

Mota and Hough are sure to perform an elaborate routine considering they will be performing a Jazz dance to the song Singin' in the Rain from the movie of the same name. It is Movie Night on Dancing With the Stars and it's an important song choice for Hough.

Hough reveals in the blog that his first dance routine at "about 3 or 4 years old" was set to Singin' in the Rain, so Monday night is going to be significant for him and Mota.

Dancing With the Stars Season 19 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
