Doctor Who's Clara Oswald will find her self separated from the Doctor in one of season 8's scariest episodes.

Peter Capaldi's Twelfth Doctor will fid himself trapped early in episode 9, and Clara (Jenna Louise Coleman) will be on her own when it comes to stopping the monster of the week. Titled "Flatline," the episode was penned by Jamie Mathieson and directed by Douglas Mackinnon.

"Separated from The Doctor, Clara discovers a new menace from another dimension," teased shorwunner Steven Moffat, according to Blogtor Who. "But how do you hide when even the walls are no protection."

The photo posted by Doctor Who TV with the episode summary shows what appear to be people painted on the wall, with their backs to the viewers. Could these be victims of the latest baddie, or are these really the monsters just laying in wait?

"It's a horror story," Moffat said, according to Cult Box. "A proper scary one, with one of our best ever sight gags in it."
