Ray J has responded to an intense scene between him and his then manager Morgan Hardman that aired on VH1's Love & Hip Hop Hollywood amid speculation that he physically abused her.

Ray J 'Not Tripping' Amid Morgan Hardman's Claims He Attacked Her

In the clip Hardman and the One Wish singer argue after he shows up at his ex-girlfriend, Teairra Mari's tattoo party and starts an altercation with her.

Hardman attempts to confront Ray J about his antics when the conversation takes a left turn and ends with him setting the couch they were sitting on on fire.

VH1 has now released a Check Yourself feature which shows Ray J's initial reaction to watching the scene.

"See, I don't like getting mad. Because that side of me comes out."

Hardman also responds to the clip and says Ray J was being, "so immature."

"He's used to me being okay with whatever he does. But this girl was like family to us."

While Ray J was more upset with Hardman in the clip for defending Teairra Mari after she dissed their family, when he watched the scene back, he says one thing that surprised him was how many times he called the Sponsor singer a "b----."

Still, he can't help but laugh at himself when he jumped on the couch and accidentally set it on fire.

"I did kind of snap. I was a bit over the top. I don't know if anybody else get like that, but I know I do. I'm a real person."

He adds that he might apologize to Teairra Mari one day, "But not today."
