Carrie Underwood doesn't know if her little bundle of joy will be a boy or a girl just yet, but the country singer definitely has an opinion on the matter.

Pregnant Carrie Underwood Pranced With 'King Kong' Chair

"I just feel like we need some frills happening," she declared on America's Morning Show on Saturday. "We'll of course be overjoyed with either. I'm the only one that's kind of like, 'I kind of hope it's a girl a little bit." The singer's first priority, however, is that the baby is happy and healthy.

Underwood and husband Mike Fisher, who plays in the NHL for the Nashville Predators, announced the pregnancy back in September, though they won't be announcing the due date anytime soon. "There's very few things in our world that you can kind of keep for yourselves," she explained in noting that she would not be publicly sharing their Spring 2015 due date.

Nonetheless, the couple were thrilled when they first learned the big news. "[Fisher] literally did a fist pump, and he was, like, 'sweet!'" explained Underwood of her husband's reaction.

As for Underwood, there's a thing or two she'll have to learn before the baby comes. "I've never changed a diaper before," she admitted quietly, though she was given the chance to practice during the course of the interview. Fortunately for Underwood, she still has time to perfect the skill before the bay comes.

Recently Underwood released the single Something in the Water off her upcoming album Carrie Underwood Greatest Hits: Decade #1, which is due out Dec. 9, 2015.

At this time, the country artist and her husband have not publicly discussed baby names.
