NCIS star Michael Weatherly appeared on The Queen Latifah Show Tuesday and showed off his other talent - singing.

The 46-year-old revealed that when he first moved to New York City to become an actor, he was fired from three restaurant jobs and in turn decided to sing for money on the subway.

"It turns out you can - at least in 1990 in New York with no permit and no money - you could survive," he said.

Weatherly, who plays the beloved Tony DiNozzo on the hit CBS show, also revealed that the hardest part of being a street musician - "opening up your guitar case and admitting that this is what you’re about to do for money.”

He then serenaded Queen Latifah with Police’s 1978 hit Roxanne. The 44-year-old host danced along and even threw Weatherly a dollar.

Weatherly shared a photo from the special moment on Twitter along with the caption, “Guitar #ncis style with #IamQueenLatifah!”

Additionally, the host shared a video of the two with the caption, “DiNozzo aka @M_Weatherly of @NCIS_CBS had ya girl BLUSHIN’ over this jam! #ncis.”
