Fox's Bones has already pulled off the rare feat of having 10 seasons on the air, but could the series continue its run even further?

'Bones' Not Going To Turn Into 'A Dark Show' Amid Sweets, Booth Arc

Bones just began airing its 10th season, but fans are already asking about an 11th season on Fox. Passing along a fan submitted question, TVLine asked Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan if another season was indeed in the works.

"I think it might take a little bit of time because there are [actor] renegotiations involved," Nathan admitted. "If everybody keeps watching as much as they have been - and on the most difficult night on television - then I am sure we will be back. It's something that we're anticipating and hope for. It doesn't seem as if the show is slowing down."

Booth Sent Into A 'High Tailspin' After Death Of Main Character on 'Bones'

Bones has remained consistent in its ratings two episodes in Season 10, despite moving from Mondays to Thursdays after Season 9. As Enstars previously reported, Fox has not been having a stellar year in the ratings, especially when it comes to debuting new shows, so fans probably don't have to worry too much about Bones being cancelled by the network.

Interestingly enough, Bones has actually been one of the more successful shows this fall for Fox, despite being 10 seasons into its run, so presumably the only real reason they would end the show is if they felt 10 seasons was enough.

Bones airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
