In a recently revealed video featuring a table read for an upcoming episode of season 10 of Criminal Minds, the stars of the show dished about what fans could expect from it.

"This episode if going to be a thrill ride from beginning to end, my palms were sweating just hearing it," said AJ Cook, who plays Jennifer Jareau on the show.

Jareau went on to give away some minor spoilers stating that fans would get to know more about the newest addition to the BAU Kate Callahan (Jennifer Love Hewitt).

"We also learn some very interesting things about our main characters, our new character Kate, we learn a little bit about her as well and her personal life," Cook added.

Joe Mantegna, who plays David Rossi, added that this would be on of their "more ambitious episodes." 

Shemar Moore, who plays Derek Morgan on the show, went on to corroborate what Mantegna had to say.

"It's going to be intense, it's going to be emotional," he said.

Kirsten Vangsness just hinted at a lot of "dead people."

The cast and crew also take fans through the motions of a table read, and how constructive it can be for the actors and writers.

"We are not meant to perform it, but we as actors give it enough life so we can feel it as actors but also writers can hear their words, see if there are any last minute tweaks they want to do," says Moore.

Season 10 premiered on CBS on October 1.

Episode 2, entitled Burn, will air on October 8 at 9/8 c.
