On Monday it was announced that Tim McGraw would be joining the lineup for the 2014 Country Music Awards this fall, but it's possible viewers might just be in for a surprise.

Tim McGraw & Faith Hill Celebrate 18th Wedding Anniversary

When the CMA lineup was announced via Us Weekly on Monday, the list included big names like Dierks Bentley and Kenny Cheney, and of course McGraw.

The 47-year-old McGraw recently released his new album Sundown Heaven Town, which features the duet Meanwhile Back At Mama's with wife and fellow country artist Faith Hill.

It's possible Hill could manage a surprise appearance when her husband performs at the CMAs in November, especially if they are trying to shut down the latest rumors that the two are headed for a big divorce.

Married since 1996, the couple have had their fair share of rumors and alleged scandals over the years. On Tuesday The Inquisitr claimed that McGraw and Hill are having problems and could be facing divorce after 18 years of marriage. No proof has been tied to this allegation, though word of it quickly spread across the internet.

In the past, McGraw and Hill have faced this allegation by packing on the PDA. When the pair were facing similar rumors over the summer, McGraw pulled Hill in for a passionate kiss onstage at the Country Music Awards Festival on June 5.

McGraw has claimed that watching his wife perform is still an amazing experience for him, and getting the chance to perform with her is a special treat.

"We really haven't recorded that many songs together," he told People on Sept. 17, "Just a handful. And we try toil only record songs that we think are special to us. And this [Meanwhile Back At Mama's] is one of those songs."

With Meanwhile Back At Mama's being such a "special" song for McGraw and with a chance to put tabloid rumors in their place, it's likely Hill will find her way to the CMA stage to join her husband during his performance.

The Country Music Awards will air live on ABC Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. ET.
