Who said exes can’t support each other?

Jennifer Lopez revealed on Instagram that she went to see Ben Affleck’s new movie, Gone Girl, which has dominated the box office. Affleck plays the lead role in the film adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s thriller of the same name.

The 45-year-old shared a photo on Sunday, which only showed her feet resting on a movie theater seat and included the caption, “Feet up…Movie night!! #GONEGIRL.”

Lopez and Affleck were once one of Hollywood’s most-buzzed about couples. The pair, who was dubbed “Bennifer,” was engaged from 2002 to 2004. Affleck even appeared in her video for Jenny from the Block, in which the couple mocked their enormous attention from the paparazzi and the media.

One year from the split, Affleck wed his Daredevil co-star Jennifer Garner and later welcomed three children together. Lopez was married to singer Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2012 and they have two children – twins Emme and Max.

However, Lopez and Affleck still keep in touch. "We don't have the kind of relationship where she relies on me for advice," Affleck told The Hollywood Reporter in 2012, "but we do have the kind of relationship where there'll be an e-mail saying, 'Oh, your movie looks great.' I remember when she got American Idol. I said: 'This was really smart. Good luck.' I touch base. I respect her. I like her. She's put up with some stuff that was unfair in her life, and I'm really pleased to see her successful."
