So many may have wished him dead, but the fact that E.J. DiMera (James Scott) is actually gone for good has rocked both his closest allies and most mortal enemies on Days of Our Lives.

Sami Makes A Heart-Breaking Discovery

Naturally, the person who is having the hardest time with the fact that he is dead is his wife, Sami (Allison Sweeney), whom he had only genuinely reunited with just weeks ago. She has been hit extremely hard by his murder, and can't look at a single thing in the mansion they shared without reliving the good memories of their long and epic love story-which continually reduces her to tears.

Now, as she continues to mourn the loss of the only man she genuinely loved, she will be hit hard with more cause for grief. An unexpected delivery will arrive at the mansion, and will cause her a whole new wave of fresh tears and heartache.

Stefano Makes An Unusual Request After E.J.'s Death

And though E.J. had several enemies, none were more powerful than his own family members-his father, Stefano (Joseph Mascolo), his sister, Kristen (Eileen Davidson) and his brother, Chad (Billy Flynn). They all had choice terrible things to say to him before his death, and he had been on the outs with all of them before he died-and guilt has now begun to eat away at each of them as they learn the truth.

And though Stefano and Kristen may have cooked up a plan that could somehow end their grief, the DiMera daughter will still find herself in a state of hurt over her brother's murder. Once news begins to spread of his death however, she could wind up silently thanking whoever ended his life, as the news will bring Brady (Eric Martsolf) to her door, and he will allow her to lean on him as she grieves. The moment could be another that will serve to potentially bring them closer together again-giving Kristen the things she wants most in this world.
