Fans of Switched at Birth can get a little more excited now that the series is officially back to filming with new photos.

'Switched At Birth' Season 4 Will Be 'Juicy & Fantastic?'

On Tuesday, the ABC Family series' Twitter page posted a picture of a general crew call sheet. There is a number at 4001, likely referring to the first episode of the fourth season.

The picture is captioned, "Rise and shine! #SwitchedatBirth is back to filming! (via@modelstella)."

The series happened to add another image that day of Marlee Matlin who plays Melody on the show. She stands in a doorway with a pink long-sleeved top, jeans and sunglasses, and looks like she's reading the script.

"@MarleeMatlin is getting ready for #SwitchedatBirth season four!" the caption says.

While these photos show that the series is going back to filming, there is still a mystery on the plot that's about to take place. Ever since Bay took the fall for Daphne over her vandalism crime, this leaves a question on how much Bay will be punished and if Daphne will ever admit the truth. But whatever happens, it will likely be enticing based on what Lea Thompson (Kathryn) recently told Smashing Interviews Magazine.

"I'm going to get to direct my third episode around Christmas, which I'm really excited about. I don't really know the storylines yet, but I'm sure they will be juicy and fantastic because we left with a really great cliffhanger," the actress said.

The Switched at Birth Christmas special is set to air on Monday, December 8 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
