The London 2012 Track and Field schedule features highly anticipated races that will take place on Sunday, August 5. Check below for events and times for must-see sprints in the Olympics games. 

One of the most awaited races on the London 2012 Track and Field schedule is the Men's 100-Meter Dash. Favorites in the this Olympic event include Jamaica's Usain Bolt, Yohan Blake, and Asafa Powell. Other runners to look out for in the Men's 100M Dash are Tyson Gay and Justin Gatlin of the United States.

Usain Bolt qualified for the Men's 100M Dash semi-finals with a run of 10.09 seconds. The star Olympian will be running to defend his position as the World's Fastest Man. 

The gold medal in the Women's 100-Meter Dash was awarded to Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica. The winner clocked in at 10.75 seconds during the finals that took place on August 4. Carmelita Jeter of the US clocked in at the second best time--10.78 seconds.

The Women's 200-Meter Dash will feature favorites including, US runners: Jeter, Allyson Felix, Sanya RIchards-Ross, and Veronica Campbell-Brown of Jamaica.
