There's a good chance that married couple Leighton Meester and Adam Brody might be preparing for a new change in their lives.

Meester graces the November issue of Nylon where she dished on several different topics, one of them being how she's going to turn 30 in a year and a half. She mentioned how she's becoming more of an adult where the possibility of raising a family was brought up.

"Most people I know are starting to get married. It'll be kids next," the Gossip Girl star said. "I like the grown-up stuff. I like having a house. I've got dogs."

Not only does it sound like the actress is becoming a grown-up in her personal life, but her career could be moving in that direction as well. She looked back on her Gossip Girl days with pleasure although she's ready to work on different kind of work.

"I started the show when I was so young, and once it was over, I wanted to do things that were more exciting and challenging and more me- more my adult taste," Meester said. "Of course, that's said with nothing but gratitude and love for that experience in that time of my life."

As of now, it sounds like the actress is ready to be taken more seriously in her work. She also gave the impression that children might come along for her and her husband so a pregnancy announcement might come along in the near future.
