The CMA Awards are coming up on Wednesday night, though country singer Blake Shelton has adopted a new name for the award show.

On Twitter Tuesday the country artist predicted that his wife and fellow country artist Miranda Lambert is poised to steal the spotlight come Wednesday night.

Lambert is up for nine nominations at the CMA Awards this year, with Taste of Country predicting on Thursday that the Somethin' Bad singer is likely to win three of them. This includes the highly coveted Entertainer of the Year, which would be an impressive way to top off Lambert's Platinum tour. While Shelton received three nominations himself, he seems to be all about his wife this week.
In addition to being a contender for some major awards, Lambert is also scheduled to perform at the show alongside All About That Bass singer Meghan Trainor. On Instagram Wednesday Lambert shared a pic of her and Trainor together, telling gangs that they will be "bringin' boot back" in Nashville Wednesday night.

As a longtime admirer of his wife's music and a fan of Trainor's hit single, Shelton is likely looking forward to their upcoming collaboration.
The 48th Annual CMA Awards will air live on ABC Wednesday at 8 p.m.
