Lolo Jones was unable to claim a medal at the 100M hurdles Tuesday finishing fourth in the London 2012 Olympic Stadium.

Sally Pearson from Team Australia took home the gold at the 100-meter hurdles final on Aug. 7, earning her country their fourth gold medal, with her Olympic record time of 12.35.

Defending world champion and Team USA athlete Dawn Harper took home the silver with 12.37.

Competing in a steady downpour of rain, American Lolo Jones, who has been the talk among Americans for the 100 meter hurdles could only manage fourth.

Pearson, 25, won silver behind Harper in the 2008 Olympics but this time she turned the tables. She also won the gold in the 100 meter hurdles at the 2011 World Championships. Pearson's personal best of 12.28 seconds is the fourth fastest time in history.

Lolo Jones made a stir in the past when she told HBO's "Real Sports" that she doesn't believe in premarital sex; leading many to draw comparisons between her and New York Jets new player Tim Tebow.

Media outlets at the time jumped upon the comparisons suggesting that Tebow and Jones should become an item. Jones found the funny side of the media reports, joking back herself on her Twitter page: "Ask Tebow if he wants a glass of milk. If he says yes, ask him if he prefers chocolate. If he says no, then no more Tebow date suggestions."

Tim Tebow, himself famous for his "tebowing" prayer has said about the media circus following him, "I'm pretty sure I'm not the first athlete to get down on one knee and pray. It's funny, I've been doing this same exact routine for the last seven years and for some reason this was the first year that people started talking about it," according to the Las Vegas Sun.
