Sheree Fletcher of VH1's Hollywood Exes seems to have broken her silence on Twitter after it was announced that she filed for divorce from her husband Terrell Fletcher.

Sheree tweeted on Thursday, "Thank you all very much for your love, prayers, and support! It means the world to me!"

But she also had a message for those who decided not to stand by her after her decision was revealed.

She wrote Sunday, "Give people permission to feel what they're feeling w/o trying to fix it. Instead of a Bible verse, give a heartfelt hug (silence is golden)"

Terrell also took to his Twitter to show his gratitude for those who have shown their sympathy in the matter.

"A major thank u to everyone! Ur love & support has been outrageously kind and ur awesomeness is humbling! #grace2u #MakeItAGreatDay," he wrote Friday.

TMZ broke the news of Sheree's filing for a split with Terrell, who is a retired NFL star and current pastor in San Diego, Calif. According to the site Thursday, she said that irreconcilable differences was the reason for wanting to end the union. Sheree is hoping to receive spousal support, but she has not indicated how much in the papers.

The couple legally separated in July after seven years of marriage.

Sheree was also previously married to Pursuit Of Happyness actor Will Smith from 1992 to 1995. They have one son together, Trey.

Fletcher currently stars in Hollywood Exes, so it is likely factors that contributed to the split will be aired in the next season.
