Niall Horan Reveals If He Regrets Joining 1D So Young

Cowell, the man behind the mega-successful boy band, One Direction, recently posted a video on his Facebook of his nine-month-old son Eric eagerly drumming along to One Direction's Story of My Life. Cowell's baby appears to have the charisma and talent needed for a career on stage.

Cowell captioned the video, "One Direction have just hired Eric as their new drummer," which is incredibly adorable to think about. Imagine Simon's son up on stage with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson. It's no surprise that the British and Irish lads love babies and young children.

For instance, Horan loves to snap photos with his nephew Theo. The other guys in 1D are equally sweet when it comes to babies and young children. Another example is over the summer while they were on tour, Styles, plucked a young fan out of the audience and brought him up on stage. You can see that video at the end of this article. Tomlinson, Payne and Malik have also had their fair share of mingling with cute babies and other young fans.

If Cowell's son were to join One Direction on stage every night fans would be in for tons of "awes" and other cuteness.

Devine even joked via Twitter saying in response to Cowell's declaration, ".‪@SimonCowell ‪@onedirection he's better looking than me as well! What a happy chap! :)"
