'Witches Of East End' Actress Has 'Tweeting Party' To Renew The Series

On Saturday, the Jersey Shore star took to her Twitter page to mention that she had plans to watch the biopic on R&B star Aaliyah, but chose not to since it's on the same channel that Witches was on.

"Damn wanted to watch Aaliyah but I forgot I'm boycotting Lifetime until they bring back Witches of East End," Polizzi wrote.

Channing Tatum Signs Petition To Renew 'Witches Of East End'

It was announced earlier this month that Lifetime was not going to renew the supernatural drama for a third season, but a petition has been going around that might spark up some hope especially now that it has more than 70,000 signatures. According to the page, the goal is at 75,000.

Based on a recent article from Deadline, the A&E series Longmire has a chance of getting picked up for a new season on Netflix despite the fact that the show got cancelled a couple months ago. Even though Witches wasn't mentioned, this still brings some hope that the series might come back; there may not be a place for it on Lifetime anymore, but perhaps it could return to Netflix or maybe another random channel.

Madchen Amick, who played Aunt Wendy on the series, posted this Deadline link on Twitter and even said "there's hope."
