Caliban's new scenes could have something to do with the ominous photograph posted by director Damon Thomas on Wednesday, especially since Allison had noted Kinnear's arrival on set for episode four just the day before.

Thomas' "tub" has certainly seen better days and could be tied to Caliban's latest hideout. Having been kicked out of the theatre in which he lived after a confrontation with the leading actress at the end of season one, Caliban will be seeking new refuge in the upcoming episodes.

Penny Dreadful returns to Showtime for a second season in 2015.
