Many were shocked when a three-and-a-half-minute video depicting singer Lana Del Rey being sexually assaulted surfaced on the internet.

The music video, believed to be the work of Hostel director Eli Roth and Marilyn Manson, has since been removed from YouTube. Those who watched it were greeted with disturbing footage of Roth pretending to rape Del Rey, pushing her head into a pillow as she screams in horror and tries to shove him away.

The end of the video features a close up of Del Rey, who appears to be crying. Marilyn Manson may appear to walk on the dark side, but according to Billboard, Manson's rep, Kathryn Frazier, is denying that the singer had anything to do with this video.

"Manson did not direct this, shoot it, nor was it for a Marilyn Manson video or outtake footage made by him or to be used by him with his music," she said. "It must be a fan video splicing up old Manson video footage with someone else's Lana Del Rey footage," she says of the video which features scenes from Manson's Slo-Mo-Tion and No Reflection videos.
