LeAnn Rimes might have good intentions when it comes to her two stepsons, but it looks like she might have unintentionally insulted one of them in a recent interview. According to a new report, Rimes hinted that Eddie Cibrian's two sons aren't talented nor driven enough like she was at their age.

In Touch Weekly reports Rimes as saying on Tuesday, "I was super-driven as a kid. Even though I was on the road a lot, the teachers would give me homework and I would get it all done. I look at my 11-year-old stepson Mason, and I'm like, 'I signed a record deal when I was your age. You're still fumbling with tying your shoelaces.'"

Meanwhile, it looks as though Rimes and Cibrian have finally gotten over their feud with the actor's ex-wife, Brandi Glanville. It is being reported that the couple has been advised to "play nice" with Glanville so the reality star can help the couple in their court battle against their ex-housekeeper, Gloria Cevallos.

According to OK! Magazine's print edition this week, lawyers for the couple are urging them to get on Glanville's good side so that she can help defend them in the lawsuit brought on by their former employee.

Gossip Cop report claims that a source close to the couple say the story is "absolutely untrue" and that Cibrian and Glanville's only correspondence these days is about their two kids.

Rimes and Cibrian have been married since 2011.
