Another member of the Hough family might be joining ABC's Dancing With the Stars as a contestant for season 20 in the spring.

Actor Ross Lynch is reportedly being asked by Dancing With the Stars producers to join the show, according to a new HollywoodLife report. The Teen Beach Movie and Austin & Ally star is also a member of the pop band R5.

"They have asked him and the offer is always on the table," a DWTS insider reportedly told the news site. "He has said 'no' so far but they will keep asking him. It's all up to him."

As it turns out, Lynch is the cousin of Julianne Hough, who is currently judging on the show. Pro dancing fan favorite Derek Hough is also his cousin. HollywoodLife spoke with Julianne about the possibility of Lynch joining as a contestant and she seemed quite positive about the idea.

"Ross! He would be amazing. He would do really well," Julianne said when the idea was suggested. "Any of the Lynch's would do amazing. All of my cousins!"
Young Disney Channel stars have done very well on Dancing With the Stars in the past. High School Musical actor Corbin Bleu came in second place in season 17 while Shake It Up star Zendaya Coleman also came in second during season 16.

With Lynch's background in dancing and performing, he could be a frontrunner if he were to decide to compete as a celebrity dancer next season.

Dancing With the Stars returns for its landmark 20th season presumably with an all-new cast in March 2015.
