5 Seconds of Summer band member Michael Clifford and Taylor Swift have been tweeting each other quite a bit recently, which led to the Blank Space singer declaring they're "Twitter BFFs."

On Nov. 27 after the initial burn of Abigail Breslin's song wore off, Clifford tweeted about being late to the Shake It Off hype. See his tweet below.

Swift retweeted him a couple of days later and then tweeted him asking him to call things even between them since she was late in retweeting him. See her tweet below.

Since Swift retweeted and tweeted at Clifford, the two have been tweeting each other back and forth.

Clifford's response to that was a heart-eyed emoji. Swift followed that up with a tweet back to him infested with various emojis. She included a cat face emoji and then said, "forgot to mention, congrats on the [trophy emoji to suggest an award] the other night at the [American flag emoji, music notes emoji, another trophy emoji to suggest the American Music Awards]!" Swift also included a few more emojis to share her reaction with Clifford over the win him and his bandmates managed to achieve.

Clifford responded to that emoji-filled tweet from Swift with a single emoji in his own tweet, but he included a video to showcase how he cried during her Blank Space performance.

Swift replied to him offering up the "Twitter BFFs" line, which he apparently implied and she accepted with yet another emoji.

Clifford agreed with her tweet by saying, "alright fine I'm in" along with yet another trophy emoji.
