Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger have been spending plenty of time together while showing lots of PDA, which apparently Schwarzenegger's mother Maria Shriver hasn't approved of, but new reports are saying otherwise.

On Tuesday, People reported that a source said, "It's untrue that Maria is unhappy." 

Shriver trusts her children to make good choices. The source said, "If Patrick's happy, she's happy."

Cyrus and Schwarzenegger have gone on casual dates such as attending a football game at Schwarzenegger's college, USC, and they were inseparable at Cyrus' big birthday bash, which Shriver is apparently completely okay with.

Another source has revealed to People that while at Cyrus' 22nd birthday party, Cyrus and Schwarzenegger, "were cute and affectionate together."

One other source said, "Patrick seems extremely happy," which is exactly how Cyrus reportedly feels too since a source close to her stated, "They're having a great time."

Cyrus' family is reportedly happy about the couple dating too. On Tuesday, Hollywood Life reported that a source said, "Miley's entire family is thrilled that she's found so much happiness in her new relationship with Patrick. They adored [her ex] Liam Hemsworth, but actually prefer Patrick because he brings out the best in Miley. They've never seen her this happy. Both Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus feel blessed that their daughter has found someone so special in her life, someone that brings her so much joy and laughter."
