He's been relatively quiet about his life since gaining success and fame in the early 1990s, but Rico Suave singer Gerardo Mejia is poised to make a big comeback by allowing cameras into his home on his new Vh1 reality show, Suave Says.

The series will follow Mejia-now a minister-and life with his wife Kathy, and his three children, Bianca, Nadia and Jaden-as they deal with a whole slew of problems.

Gerardo and Kathy have weathered a lot of drama in their 20-year+ marriage, with his admission of infidelities spanning a decade, and the couple is still trying to pick up the pieces from everything-but their children may also wind up testing them even more.

Both Nadia and Jaden intend to follow in their famous father's footsteps as an aspiring singer and model and a rapper-and Bianca has just moved back home-with her new boyfriend Zack in tow. In addition, Gerardo's 20-year-old niece Lexi and her toddler son are also living in the house.

Naturally, the situation is going to cause some serious drama, which can be seen in a preview clip for the show.

Being a father and someone who has been in the spotlight, Gerardo is naturally protective of his model daughter-and can be seen trying to keep her from exposing too much on the runway.

"Can I cover her up a little bit?" he asks in the clip.

"Oh my god, get out!" she says.

In the meantime, he is also trying to be supportive of his son's career aspirations as well.

"Continue being a rapper. You will have your choice of whatever woman you love," he says.

Suave Says premieres Dec. 3 at 10 p.m. on Vh1.
