After TV comedian Bill Cosby has been having a massive amount of scandal with rape allegations, he has finally broken his silence to thank the people who have taken his side.

On Wednesday, the icon took to Twitter to say thank you to Whoopi Goldberg and Jill Scott after both of them supported him amid the scandal.
"Thank you@WhoopiGoldberg," Cosby wrote, followed by, "Thank you @MissJillScott, from the Cosby family."
Bill Cosby's Lawyer Speaks Out On Allegations
During a discussion on The View a couple weeks ago, Goldberg explained her thoughts on the allegations.
"Perhaps the police might have believed [the allegation], or the hospital. Don't you do a kit when you say someone has raped you?" she said, posted on Us Magazine. "I hope somebody gets to the bottom of this, but I'm going to reserve my judgment because I have a lot of questions, as I said. It's crazy, but I have a lot of questions because I know we all have friends who have gone through this."
Scott responded to some Twitter users on Cosby where she seemed to take his side of the story. It appears that the tweets have been deleted although they can be seen in Us Magazine.
"@SimpleBerry u know Bill Cosby? I do child and this is insane. Proof. Period."
Another tweet reads, "@KristensWay I'm respecting a man who has done more for the image of Brown people that almost anyone EVER. From Fat Albert to the Huxtables."
