After Johnny Manziel stepped into the game on Nov. 30 and scored his first professional touchdown there has been chatter that he could replace Brian Hoyer as the Browns starting quarterback at the upcoming game; however, Coach Mike Pettine has spoken and that won't be the case.

'Johnny Football' Manziel Becoming 'Johnny Wrestling'?

On Nov. 30 after the game against the Buffalo Bills, Coach Pettine said the coaching staff "will look at the tape and make a decision," about whether to start Manziel in the next game or not as reported by NFL's website.

Manziel has been receiving tons of support from the likes of his girlfriend Colleen Crowley, but also from recording artist Drake and professional basketball player LeBron James, among other fans.

Unfortunately, Coach Pettine, as of Wednesday, decided to stick with Hoyer in the starting position. Cleveland reported that Manziel said, "He [Coach Pettine] called me in and kind of sat down and explained why and I was very understanding of that."

"Obviously, that's a decision that's made by Coach Pettine and this week his answer was, 'no,''' Manziel said after learning he would not be starting against the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday. Manziel added, "Moving forward, whatever transpires, maybe next time the answer will be, 'yes.'''

Manziel also stated, "But I think I obviously came out last week and showed that I can come out and play a little bit and we had one successful drive and one that based off a bonehead play by me, one play kind of killed it, so some good things and some bad things taken away from last week and I think he just kind of re-iterated that."

Manziel "completely trusts" his coach's decision though.
