Showtime's Penny Dreadful explored both poverty and wealth during its first season, but it looks like the show will be getting a little upscale this time around with some elegant new costumes.

Egyptian Lore Could Be Key To 'Penny Dreadful' Season 2

On Thursday producer Christopher King shared a photo of the costume department's "mascot" Mila and in doing so gave a few clues as to where the season is headed stylistically.

With some glittering beadwork and gold trims, it seems that the Victorian supernatural drama will be entering high society throughout the upcoming episodes. With Sir Malcolm's (Timothy Dalton) upper class connections, visits to some prominent figures may be required in pursuit of answers about Vanessa's (Eva Green) demonic link.

Of course the series won't be for taking the underbellies of society entirely. There are, after all, demons circling Vanessa and at least one scene in the heart of a cemetery, which could suggest tragedy is on the way.

The series had a unique debut season in the sense that none of the major characters were killed off. With shows like HBO's Game of Thrones and AMC's The Walking Dead killing off leads in shocking twists at every turn, Penny Dreadful might just have to up the body count if it wants to compete.

Penny Dreadful returns on Showtime for a second season in 2015.
