Miley Cyrus' new haircut has sparked much debate since it's Twitter debut on Sunday. With Cyrus loving the drastic change, sources say that her fiance, Liam Hemsworth, is also a fan of the new pixie cut.

"Liam totally loves it and think 'it's hot.' She's just expressing her look, being a bit edgy and looking hot in the process. I love it," an unnamed source revealed, according to Hollywood Life.

The source also explained that Cyrus doesn't care what others say about her look, although much criticism has surfaced. The short haircut is a change the 19-year-old has always wanted to try.

"Her new haircut is so her. It's what she's wanted for a long time now but couldn't do it because of work. But now, she feels free and this is the first drastic thing she's done to express her feelings."

Hemsworth and Cyrus were spotted for the first time since her new cut on Tuesday. The engaged pair were heading out while in Philadelphia, however, Cyrus was hiding behind Hemsworth to avoid the cameras.

Cyrus suggested her response to the criticism she faced after her haircut. "Giving face all day," she wrote on Twitter.

After debuting her pixie cut via Twitter with a series of pictures on Sunday, the 19- year-old posted some words of wisdom for critics:

"My dad Billy Ray Cyrus used to tell me, 'opinions are are like a--holes --everybody has one.' LOVE my hair. Feel so happy, pretty, and free."
