Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran have had a rocky relationship from day one and now it appears as though some things are being smoothed over while other things are just boiling over.

Chris Brown & Karrueche Tran Were Spotted Clubbing Together, Putting Split Rumors To Rest

On Friday, Brown performed at Power 106's Cali Christmas in Los Angeles, which led to him announcing his single status and calling out Tran as reported by TMZ.

That led to Tran firing back on Twitter Saturday and the former couple went on to exchange a lot of hateful social media remarks all weekend long.

Chris Brown & Karrueche Tran Split Up?

At one point Brown accused Tran of cheating on him with Drake especially while he was behind bars. TMZ reported Monday that Drake is livid with Brown for dragging him into this ordeal. Drake has previously been in the middle of Brown and Rihanna. Sources close to Drake revealed that there is no truth to Brown's allegations of Drake dating Tran. Tran apparently isn't Drake's type. One source said, "Drake's an a-- man. Think about it, all the strippers he gets with ... the first out of his type was Rihanna."

Brown hasn't apologized to Drake, but he has taken to Instagram to apologize to Tran. On Monday he shared a long apology stating that he still loves her and that he "just want baby girl to know I apologize."

According to Hollywood Life as of yesterday, Tran has accepted Brown's apology. A source close to her divulged, "She does forgive him. She said, 'I forgive Chris Brown. That's just who he is.'"

The source added, "She absolutely accepts his apology but she also knows full well that another episode like this is bound to happen. Karrueche was hurt, yes. His words and the way he tried to make her look less than loyal were cruel. But at this point, she's not taking it personally and won't in the future because she knows this is part of his personality and she knows he's still in therapy and getting help for this exact reason. She's in this for the long haul and wants to see him mentally healthy."
