Recently Blake Shelton of NBC's The Voice sat down to discuss the first concert he ever attended, his favorite song ever, and what he likes to sing in the shower.

Shelton remembers his early music milestones, particularly the first time he ever got to attend a live music concert.

"Sawyer Brown and a guy named B.B. Watson came to Ada, Oklahoma, and played at the Kerr Dome," the country singer and Ada-native told People on Monday. "I just couldn't believe it… to me it was just so cool."

As for Shelton's favorite song, there was no question about it. "A Country Boy Can Survive by Hank Jr. just says it all for my lifestyle," he explained. "I try to think of myself as an outlaw, a bada--. And this song covers that."

When asked what song Shelton uses to set the mood, the singer promptly replied, "I don't need music for that." When it comes to singing in the shower, however, Shelton does have one theme in particularly that's his go-to.

"The Love Boat theme," noted the Neon Light singer, who then shared some of the lyrics. "The reverb in the shower sounds good on that one."

In November, Shelton was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall Of Fame along with six other prominent natives of the state in entertainment, art, science and politics. He released his latest album, Bringing Back The Sunshine, in September.
