Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran called off their on-again, off-again relationship for what seemed to be for good over the weekend, but the Loyal singer is apparently trying to win her back.

Chris Brown & Karrueche Tran Split Up?

The former couple had an intense fight over social media this weekend after Brown announced at the Power 106 Cali Christmas show Friday that he was done with Tran as reported by TMZ. Their social media war ended with Brown apologizing to Tran via Instagram on Monday. In his apology he claims to still love Tran. He said, "I love hard and react impulsively when I'm hurt at times," in his lengthy apology.

Hollywood Life reported Monday that Tran forgave the singer. A source close to her divulged, "She does forgive him. She said, 'I forgive Chris Brown. That's just who he is.'"

Tuesday Hollywood Life further reported about Brown and Tran, in which they learned Brown is trying to win her back. A source said, "Chris has been turning on the charm to Karrueche's family extra thick these past few days."

The source also dished that Brown is "trying to score major brownie points" by showing off his creativity and culinary skills to show Tran how much he cares about her.

"He's trying to switch the game up on Karrueche big time and he thinks he knows the way to her heart, and it's with food," the source said.

Brown's way back into her heart is through the Vietnamese dish Pho apparently.

The source said, "Chris has been practicing cooking Vietnamese food and wants to make her a famous Pho bowl. He knows she loves Vietnamese food and he wants to cook Pho for her. He wants her to know that he actually took the time to cut the veggies, steam the rice, and roast the beef. He's doing everything himself because he knows he messed up. He's trying something different this time around. He thinks this will resonate well with Karrueche and make her understand how truly sorry he is and how he wants to make their relationship work like it always has."
