Blake Shelton is having a totally relaxed Christmas this holiday season and that's just the way this country singer likes it.

"Well this holiday season I'm going to be the same stuff we always do," the Neon Lights singer told Join The Synergy on Tuesday (featured below).

"I call it the Christmas tour of the Shelton-Lambert clan, whatever you call us," he joked. "This year is actually a little bit different. We're actually going to have Christmas early I think around the twenty first, twenty second in Oklahoma with my family. Then we'll head down to…Texas for Christmas Eve and Christmas day with Miranda's family."

While Shelton and his wife, fellow country artist Miranda Lambert, will be moving around a lot this month, their plans definitely aren't anything elaborate.

"You know [it's] nothing big," insisted Shelton. "No fancy trips. We never do stuff like that."

"It's just as laid back as you can imagine it being," he added, "Which is why I personally love Christmas."

Indeed, the musician does like himself some Christmas. In fact, he'd be in the holiday spirit all-year round if could do it.

"I love it so much," said Shelton of the holiday. "I drive Miranda crazy with it. I'm listening to Christmas music the second I can get away with it… I'm one of those guys that I'll play it in the background until she realizes it and goes, 'Are you playing Jingle Bells? It's fourth of July.'"

With Christmas only a couple weeks away, Shelton won't have to wait much longer.
