Their marriage suffered from some huge blows, but Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) may believe things are not only good again between she and Rick (Jacob Young), but are better than ever on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Rick Makes A Jaw-Dropping Decision About His Marriage

Rick told her he wanted to work on their marriage again after they initially split due to her sharing kisses with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye)-and his own quick attempt to move on with Maya (Karla Mosley). And since they reunited, Caroline is certain that things are fixed-a fact she will reiterate to Ridge.

"I'm proud of my husband, all the positive changes I see in him," she says in a preview clip for the Monday, Dec. 15 episode. "He's more committed to our marriage than ever."

Caroline Considers Taking Rick Back

However, Caroline is speaking far too quickly, as she is unaware that her husband forgiving her and asking to have their marriage back is simply a ploy. He only told her he wanted her back after his father, Eric (John McCook) gave him an ultimatum that he needed to reunite with his wife, or he would lose his position as CEO of Forrester. Rick did as his father asked, but with a catch-he and Maya are secretly scheming behind-the-scenes, and once Rick is truly secure in his position of power in the company and cannot be removed, he will officially file for divorce from Caroline and he and Maya will make their romance public once again.

In the meantime, the scheming couple is having fun messing with Caroline and trying to force her to stray once again-by telling her to continue working with Ridge on another new line for the company.

"I even went as far as to insist that Caroline and ridge work together," Rick tells Maya in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
