U.S. diver Kassidy Cook released an intimate photo on Tuesday, Aug. 14, of her cuddling with Olympic Team Great Britain diver Tom Daley.

The photo was taken in London when the pair went to see the hit play "Lion King" in London's East End.

"Went to lion king! Awesome play!" she captioned with the picture.

Daley, 18, tweeted a photograph of himself with the cast. "Awesome night at the lion king!!! Here's a pic of me with the cast!'

Cook flew to London the day after the Olympics Closing Ceremony to spend time with Daley. The 17-year-old professional diver was unable to participate in the Summer Games because she dislocated her shoulder. According to several reports, Cook will try to make the Brazil Games in 2016.

When Cook arrived in England to celebrate Daley's bronze medal win, she announced her arrival on Twitter.

"Hello London :)" she tweeted.

The rumored couple first met when they were 13 years old and Daley recently tweeted a picture of the two at that age.

Heat magazine reported that Daley and Cook are currently in a relationship.

"He likes his American girls. Kassidy and he always see each other when they go away," Daley's friend Tonia Couch told Heat. "He's still young for a girlfriend I guess. He's got so much ahead of him. He's said to me he doesn't want a girlfriend till after the Olympics. So, we'll see."

Daley was recently titled "The World's Most Popular Olympian On Social Media" during the London 2012 Games, according to Digital Spy.

"Tom achieved an extraordinary 820k Facebook Fans and 1.2m Twitter followers through the course of the games, as well as become one of the most talked-about athletes on social media," said starcount.com
