Just one day after having his tonsils removed, Mahone surfaced on Instagram, where he shared a photo of himself, sitting in a hospital bed and working on new music.
"The work don't stop," Mahone captioned the photo, which was shared with fans on Tuesday. In the pic, Mahone is sitting behind a keyboard and a laptop, as well as a few other electronic devices.

Before he underwent tonsil surgery, Mahone reunited with his ex-girlfriend, Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello, at the 18th birthday party of Hailee Seinfeld. During the bash, both Mahone and Cabello shared photos on their social media accounts. However, neither party shared photos of the other.
According to an E! News insider, there was no drama between Mahone and Cabello at the party. "Austin was with a group of friends, but not one girl in particular," the source said on Saturday. "He was very sweet to all the ladies at the party."
Mahone and Cabello split last month after a couple months of dating. Cabello confirmed the news to Ryan Seacrest during an appearance on his KIIS-FM radio show, telling the hosts, "We're actually not together anymore. Hey, things happen."
In the video below, which Mahone posted on Instagram on Friday, the singer can be seen attempting a back flip into a foam pit.
