Tim McGraw is closing out the year on top as his hit single Shotgun Rider sits at no. 1 on the charts.

Go Behind The Scenes At Tim McGraw's Album Launch

This week Shotgun Rider sits comfortably on not one, but two Billboard charts. McGraw is the only country artist on there twice this week, with the single no. 1 for Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs.

The song isn't just a success as far as country music goes. It is also at no. 39 for the Billboard Hot 100, which is a list that includes artists from a number of different genres.

Tim McGraw Says Goodbye To Nashville Property

While Shotgun Rider may be getting a lot of commercial attention at the moment, it's Meanwhile Back At Mama's, McGraw's tender duet with wife Faith Hill, that's landed him a few Grammy nominations this year.

On Dec. 5 Rolling Stone announced the nominees for the 2015 Grammy Awards.

The duet scored the singer his only two nominations this year with a nod for Best Country Song as well as Best Country Group Performance. Of course it is not McGraw's first collaboration with his wife, whom he credits with encouraging him to up his game. The two have worked together previously on the songs It's Your Love (1997), Just To Hear You Say That You Loved Me (1998), Let's Make Love (1999), Like We Never Loved At All (2005), and I Need You (2007).

Both Shotgun Rider and Meanwhile Back At Mama's are off McGraw's album Sundown Heaven Town, which came out in September.
