On Sunday, Yahoo UK and Sugarscape reported that heartthrob Niall Horan was leaving the beloved group One Direction.

On Monday, Billboard reported that those rumors are false and the site reported that a Columbia Records rep has confirmed that Horan is not leaving the group.

The rep made a statement saying that there’s, “no truth to this rumor.”

Amid the rumors, the accounts later announced that they had been hacked and the group is still together.

‘One Direction’ fans can take a breather, because it looks like this was just a false alarm.

This has been quite the year for the members of 1D. The boys’ recently released the fourth studio album Four and their hit singles have taken over the charts.

In November, rumors that Zayn Malik had a drug abuse problem took over the Internet, leaving 1D fans beyond mortified.

Luckily those rumors have been put to bed, and the boys are moving on. The group recently announced that they will be touring the UK next year, and they are already making plans for their next album.

It’s safe to say that the boys’ have a lot to look forward to in the coming year.
