In 2013 Keith Urban played with the Rolling Stones in Los Angeles and the experience was so amazing the country star still has trouble talking about it.

Keith Urban 'Loves' Nick Jonas

"It's hard to describe that one," Urban recently told the Times Colonist.

The Somewhere In My Car singer called the opportunity to play with Rolling Stones "phenomenal" and "surreal, obviously."

"I just wish it was a longer song, really," admitted Urban. "Mick [Jagger] picks a two-and-a-half minute song [Respectable] and it's like, bummer, I wish we could have chosen Sympathy for the Devil or something that's a little bit longer. It was really fun playing with him. I just loved it."

As it turns out, Urban has wife and actress Nicole Kidman to than for first introducing him to the Rolling Stones frontman. "My wife and L'Wren Scott had been friends for like twenty years," explained Urban. "So that's how Mick and I met, was through my wife and his partner. The whole thing was quite organic."

The country star noted that he's always been impressed with the "ferocity" of the Rolling Stones and was honored to play with them.

With his history of genre bending concert collaborations, Urban will team up with Nick Jonas on Wednesday as the pair play ET Canada's New Year's Eve concert at Niagara Falls. Urban will be accompanied on the trip by Kidman and their two young daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
