It looks as though Sofia Vergara might soon be a married woman. The Hollywood actress has announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend Joe Manganiello after six months of dating. Now, her ex-fiance Nick Loeb has reacted to the news by giving a statement to the media.

According to the New York Daily News on Tuesday, Loeb, who was in an on-again, off-again relationship with Vergara for several years, said, "She is beautiful and majestic and therefore to be loved. Beyond all else in life she deserves happiness, the kind that only true love can bring."

Manganiello popped the question on Christmas day while the couple was vacationing in Hawaii with their family.

This isn't the first time that Loeb has spoken out about his ex-fiance. Earlier this month, the Onion Crunch mogul opened up about the Modern Family actress in an interview as well.

Speaking to Extra TV last Wednesday, Loeb admitted that Vergara and Manganiello are the perfect Hollywood pair. He said that even though the two are still "good friends," Vergara and Manganiello "look like they are getting along great. I think it's a perfect match for them."

As far as those rumors that he is dating Sharon Stone, he said, "No, no, no. Sharon is a lovely woman, we have mutual friends and we spent some time hanging out."

So far, Vergara has not made any public comments about her ex.
