Kathy Griffin looks fierce in a black dress as she appears in her first promos for E!'s Fashion Police.

"Anything you wear can and will be held against you," Griffin says in one promo.

The 54-year-old comedian will make her debut appearance on the show on Jan. 12 to critique the Golden Globes red carpet, filling Joan Rivers' shoes. Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne, and newcomer Brad Goreski will also be by her side judging celebrity outfits.

In November, Griffin praised the late star for her legendary work during an interview with Access Hollywood.

"She brought a fearlessness and a brand of humor into our homes that we really need and I think now that she's no longer with us, I feel like people are realizing more than she was alive," she said of Rivers who died on Sept. 4.

"I think it's important that somebody's out there poking fun at the ridiculousness of all of this and comedy is just not a place where you hold back and she didn't and that's what I loved about her."

Shortly after Rivers' death, Fashion Police executives announced that the popular show would return to the E! network in January 2015. 

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Joan Rivers and, for the last two weeks, have turned our attention to honoring her memory on all of our platforms," E! said in a statement. "We have also thought long and hard about what Joan would have wanted as it pertains to the future of Fashion Police. We decided, with Melissa Rivers' blessing, that Joan would have wanted the franchise to continue."
