Although Ivanka Trump made around 10 New Year’s resolutions last year, the businesswoman revealed she’s only making one promise to herself for 2015 - to take better care of herself.
“When you call them goals, when you set milestones in a professional capacity, those you really strive to meet. When you set personal New Year’s resolution, those are like gone by the end of January,” she said in a video posted to YouTube on Wednesday. “My resolution this year is to make less resolutions, to make one resolution and to try and stick with it.”
The 33-year-old, who has two children, Arabella, 3, and Joseph, 1, with husband Jared Kushner, said she plans to focus on “general health and wellness.”
“I will try and sleep a tiny bit longer, which will be difficult, but since I’m sleeping around four hours a night now, I think I should be able to accomplish that one,” she said. “I’m going to try to eat healthier and I’m going to try and get a little bit more exercise in and maybe have a little bit more downtime as well.”
With all her business ventures, including a clothing line and the recent launch of her lifestyle website for “Women Who Work,” Trump’s resolution might be a bit difficult to accomplish. Of course, chasing around two little kids doesn't help either.
“As a mother of two young children, let’s see if I’m able to adhere to this resolution,” she joked.
