Dancing With the Stars pro Emma Slater recently opened up about the one fellow pro she thinks "the world" of as she tours.

Slater is currently on the Dancing With the Stars Live! Tour along with many of the show's other pros. One of those pros is Sasha Farber, who the dancer dated before breaking up in late 2014. Despite their history, Slater and Farber remain best of friends.

"You know, it goes through moments, but I think the world of Sasha," Slater recently told Glamour magazine. "I really do. I wouldn't have been so close to him for three years of my life. He's just the best person. I don't think we're supposed to finish together. I think there are other people that might make us both individually happy, but I'm always going to be his best friend. I feel like his best friend right now. It has just happened in the way we have gone from a beautiful three-year relationship, which I love and cherish, to best friends. I still live with him."

Slater is living with Farber and admitted that they came to a "mature" agreement to remain together as roommates and friends. She added that Farber is essentially the only family she has in America and even though they won't be together forever, "I was glad that he decided to go on tour with me."

As of now it's unknown if Slater will be returning for the 20th season of Dancing With the Stars in March, though she is a popular pro. Meanwhile, Farber has only danced competitively on the show once, in season 17 with Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi. He could possibly make a return in 2015.

Dancing With the Stars returns for its landmark 20th season on Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
