He may be the most famous child in England, but it doesn't take much to make one-year-old Prince George happy.

Princess Kate Takes Her son To An Amusement Park 

Pippa Middleton, sister to Princess Kate, bought her royal grandson a number of presents for Christmas last month and not all of them were big and fancy.

According to the Daily Mail on Dec. 31, George was thrilled with the plush police car toy Pippa got for him. She'd purchased the item at Chelsea Toys in London earlier that month.

"She was looking for a small gift because she'd already bought him a massive thing," explained storeowner Alka Poole. "She just needed something to give him to play with."

The little car proved to be the ideal solution. It is easy for young children to get overwhelmed with so many presents. They want to open everything, which can often become problematic for the parents with some of the more elaborate gifts.

At £9 (roughly $18) the car proved to be simple and effective, allowing little George to open and play with the toy immediately without waiting for it to be assembled.

"He's amazing, a very dear boy," Pippa said of her little nephew. "He has brought a lot of pleasure and fun for all of us, the whole family."

Prince William and Princess Kate will be welcoming an addition to their expanding family this year. Kate is expected to give birth to her second child in April.
