Apparently the Paddington actress owns an apartment in New York City which recently flooded the home of one of her neighbors.

On Monday the NY Daily News reported that Kidman is being sued for $46,928 for damages which occurred after a 2012 incident in which a pipe burst in her apartment, causing the lower level to flood.

It seems that Kidman had allowed a contractor to put in some piping to redirect water, but the contractor had never taped to pipe to prevent weather damage. When January hit the pipe froze, broke and released a rush of water into the home of Leonard Stenberg.

Urban and Kidman purchased the New York condo in 2010 for $10 million, though the primarily live in Nashville, Tenn. with their two young daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. They were likely in Nashville or away on business when they pipe burst in New York.

Kidman is having a difficult time even without the added stress of legal trouble. The actress is still mourning the loss of her father, Dr. Antony Kidman, who passed away in 2014. The two had been very close and last week Nicole was forced to celebrate Christmas without him for the first time.

The lawsuit was filed on Monday in Manhattan. At this time neither Urban nor Nicole have commented publicly on the lawsuit.
